How Does it Work?
Social-emotional intelligence is built by using drama and other experiential techniques to teach students to examine and reframe the assumptions that inform their thoughts, trigger their emotions and lead to their behaviors. This process is applied in myriad areas such as dealing with feelings, self-acceptance, and relationships. Students are helped to develop a comprehensive range of life skills such as cooperation, stress managament, anger management, communication, assertiveness, and goal-setting.
